Hello, thanks for finding my portfolio, and yes, I’m looking for work!

I was recently laid off from my Associate Art Director position at Sur La Table after a 20+ year career at the Seattle retail company.  They reduced the Creative Team down to 9 people from a team of roughly 20. My take is that the layoffs were due to AI and automation.

This is not to say I don’t work well with AI. I used Firefly and Nano Banana in Photoshop everyday. Changing, adapting and color correcting cookware, cutlery, and dinnerware photos into more usable assets for the website, emails, and social media.  Also proficient in Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and a lil After Effects.

I have been working in the graphic design and production field in Seattle since 1988.
